The South Gloucestershire Show is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, we advise ponchos, boots, umbrellas, and rubber duckies. In the event of sunshine, we advise sunglasses, sunscreen and water.
This year we are excited to announce pre-book tickets will be available! The release date is yet to be announced so stay tuned to our website, Facebook and Twitter.
Our traders will be accepting a mix of cash and card at the event. There are cash machines at locations outside of the Showground, most of which can be found within Emerson’s Green, 5 minutes from our site. Some of our exhibitors will accept card payments but we can’t guarantee this. So please come prepared.
There is ample car parking space at the show completely free of charge including disabled parking. We will be providing patrolling security at the show but we are unable to take any responsibility for damage to or theft from any vehicle. Vehicles are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
We are committed to improving accessibility and aim to make the Show more comfortable and enjoyable for visitors with disabilities. Blue badge holders should display their badge before entering the Showground car park to be directed to the correct location for disabled parking. Disabled toilets will be located by the entrances and clearly marked on the map. Most of our Showground is beautiful fields with some limited temporary track at the entrance/exits. If you require assistance or need further help with questions on accessibility please contact the team on hello@southglosshow.co.uk
We promote a ‘Cycle to’ initiative as we are placed on the Avon Cycleway. There will be plenty of places to chain up your bike and the area will be patrolled by security staff all weekend but, again, we are unable to take any responsibility for damage to or theft from any bike. You can get to the show without having to go onto Westerleigh Road. This will be well signposted during the weekend of the Show.
Food including picnic baskets are generally not permitted on site, but we do have plenty of catering stands at the Show. We are however not the sandwich police and if you do happen to have a cheeky cheese & pickle sarnie tucked in your bag we will not confiscate it.
Alcohol is not permitted through the gates of the Showground but there are plenty of bars offering a great range of alcoholic beverages. We promote responsible drinking at the South Glos Show.
Yes, adequate toilet facilities are provided for when nature calls including disabled toilets. These will be obviously marked around site and also on the site map provided within your Show programme available at the site entrance.
If you are in need of medical assistance please grab the attention of a member of staff – they will be visibly marked in either yellow or pink hi vis jackets. A lot of our staff are first aid trained and we also have a first aid provider on site throughout the weekend.
At the South Glos Show we promote a dog friendly Show with all of your four legged friends welcome to join you. We know they’re part of the family so it wouldn’t be a family show without them. All we ask is that they are kept on their leads and you clean up after them please.
