Jessie May will be returning to the South Glos Show this August as our Nominated Charity.

After another successful SGS last August, we are delighted that our Nominated Charity, Jessie May, received an amazing £3,500.
SGS also allowed Jessie May to raise awareness of their children’s hospice at home charity, and share stories of the amazing work their nurses are doing locally in the homes of terminally ill children.
Their nurses support life limited children and their families through vital respite care, emotional support, end of life care, and bereavement support alongside family events that help create treasured memories. They heavily rely on public support in order to continue caring for all these families, as well as welcome new children to their ever-growing caseload.
This year, the Jessie May stand was situated next to our Gregor Heating Main arena where they greeted our visitors and held their very own Teddy Bear’s Picnic, featuring a particularly giant cuddly bear! They also had some exciting prizes up for grabs at their raffle and preloved stall. We can’t wait to see what they have in stall for us this year!

We were delighted to be the show’s chosen charity and spent two gloriously sunny days meeting supporters, sharing some amazing stories about our nurses’ work, and raising vital funds to ensure they can continue to support local families.”
