SOUTH GLOS SHOW, BEER FESTIVAL & BREWERS COMPETITION 2016
At the South Glos Show we enjoy celebrating everything we love about the South Gloucestershire area. So this year we decided to embrace something we all appreciate…beer!
Only beer brewed in South Gloucestershire qualifies for this competition.
Being the largest event of its kind in the county, the South Glos Show have decided to discover which beer you, the public, think is the best brewed by your local brewers. This year the 2016 Show sees the very first South Gloucestershire Show Beer Competition, which was officially opened by Luke Hall MP.
The Beer Festival allows South Glos Breweries to enter a beer in two categories, ‘Best IPA’ (India Pale Ale) and ‘Best Bitter’. There will also be a category for ‘Best in Show’ which is your favourite on the day.

All entries for this year’s Beer Competition will be available to try at pubs across the county, so don’t panic you do not need to drink all ten beers on the day, and a list of all pubs stocking these Ales for 2016 can be found on our website www.southglosshow.co.uk
Ballot forms will be available to pick up at these pubs and once filled in you can enter your vote in the Beer Festival area at the South Glos Show 2016 where the ballot box will be located.
